I’m insanely jealous, but also really happy for Kyle. He seems like such a down-to-earth, humble guy. Good for him.
I think the only way these two could sound more excited is if they were on ecstasy.

All these YouTubers buying fancy cars and I’m sitting here like, “I can’t wait till I hit 666 subscribers so I can make a stupid joke”.

So who crashes theirs first - him or DeMuro?

Well, Kyle’s has stability control so...

YouTube is full of teenagers speculating on how these Lambo kids made or inherited their uh.......purchasing power (leasing power?).
But Kyle has generally received great feedback and I’m honestly happy for him as well. That is an amazing car for anyone, let alone a 27-year-old.
It helps that he has made his non-1% background very obvious in his years of video content. The other guys have sewn their lips shut about how they finance the cars, as they keep churning through newer and newer models and producing the same click-bait content with each car.

Probably DeMuro when he inevitably tries to drive it in the snow

SaabKyle’s content isn’t exactly what I seek out but he seems like a genuinely great guy. Esp in his POV drive with Mr. Regular. Probably the two most genuine people in the YouTube car video sphere in one car together.

Yep, he earned it 100%.

That thing at idle sounds like a World War 1 Sopwith Camel.

The guy in the passenger seat is kinda dumb, but the guy driving is like every one of us nerdy car nerds who is like HORSEPOWWWWWAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I think it’s easier to understand how people can make money on YouTube when you consider they’re just being tossed nickels and dimes. A lot of nickels and dimes. It adds up. There are popular YouTubers I just don’t get; I can’t understand why so many people want to watch PewDiePie narrate video games, or want to hear Ricky Dillon screech, but they do. and it’s easy enough for me to avoid the things I’m not interested in.

Honestly I haven’t been convinced that it’s as simple as raw subscriber or view count. Kyle has nearly a million subscribers, which is way up there by any standard, but he had to get a 3-year-old Viper.
On top of that it involved working to get good terms with his friendly neighbour car dealership—terms that even Humble Kyle cannot disclose.
Kids have thrown around numbers, but they all add up to way more than a $60k used car.
Perhaps Kyle is house-shopping?

no, look. there’s being able to buy a car, and being able to own a car. I work in the auto industry, and make good money (I gross just under $100k/yr.) I could buy a number of supercars, but most of them I couldn’t afford to own.
Kyle buying a 3 year old Viper means he let the previous owner(s) eat most of the depreciation. He’s not exactly destitute because he has to “settle for” a 3 year old Viper. Honestly I don’t understand how most YouTubers make money, but that’s mostly because I’m an old. he’s managed to use it to make money and buy his dream car, and if he rolled up on my doorstep tomorrow with it, I’d hand him a beer (assuming he’s over 21) and congratulate him.

Well, we’re in agreement here. Kyle is smart, but he is also on a budget (he directly states that in the video)—with no doubt at least partly influenced by his video income.
That particular income is what I’m not so sure of, and the subject of endless teenage YouTube speculation.

This is the one that springs most readily to mind:

Kyle > All those guys. His videos may be dry on occasion, but the guy is nothing if not a genuine person with an incredible passion for and knowledge of all things car.

Def jealous of him. Both or this car, as well as some of the cars he has gotten to do full walk arounds with. Pagani, Rolls, McLaren’s. Always has good content.

That kid is just so crass that it’s comedic that he could take himself as seriously as he does.
I recall in one of his other videos the BGM has a rapper repeating “young money young money”.
